Yes, and most definitely. There are all kinds of times when silence is not welcomed: when you shout an cuss word, when you're talking about something awkward, when you are doing a presentation, when you say something stupid in front of everyone, and the list goes on. But the worst silence is between conversations and both people are stopped for a minute.

Then you look at each other. I attempt a smile, but usually it gets weirder. I struggle to remember why the conversation died all of the sudden and it gets even quieter. Overall its the most awkward situation because it happens all the time. Especially to me..
