- It's nice to visit, but...

I'm most definitely a city girl. I grew up in the suburbs in Fort Worth, and my sisters and I used to visit my uncle in East Texas for a week or two during the summer. After the second year or so, I realized that I found the country a nice place to visit, but preferred living where it took less than 10 minutes to hit a main road, where pizza places would deliver to your house, and you wouldn't die of blood loss before an ambulance made it to your house (I don't know that to have happened to anyone personally, but I'd still rather not have it be a possibility).
Yes, I did enjoy being able to see about ten times as many stars as I could back in FW, and the scenery was nice, but I'm a creature of convenience. Street lights and glowing store and fast food signs are reassuring to me.
