January - babymooning up on the Gold Coast
February - studying in the sweltering heat with a big belly
March - counting down the days at work before maternity leave
April - Trying to get things right at home and in my head re the impending gamechange.
May - waking up every morning like it was Christmas and could not stop smiling
June - Getting the confidence to go out into the world with my precious little bundle.
July - Social dynamics of mother's group took my back to my early teens.
August - Sleep deprivation began to kick in just when I neede to start hitting the books.
September - Made it through my first exam - and my first birthday - as a mum.
October - Got a little worked up about certain friends who had better things to do then join me at the sunshiney shrine of my little girl.
November - Got a little worked up about all the promises made and not kept, including my own what I was going to 'achieve' during maternity leave.
December - Decided to focus on what was important, namely basking in the wonder of my daughter and doing what it takes to get through the next year."
