I wish I could be fluent in every language. We have so many things to learn from other people and cultures, but ego and language prevent that.

In most countries, it's common for people to be multilingual. In the United States, most of us know only English, and some expect that nothing other than English be spoken.

Right now, I'm in the process of simultaneously learning Chinese, Hebrew, Arabic, and German. I like challenge!
