Get Very Very Bored!
I shall ignore the 'school' part since that was 56 years ago and I think that I may as well ignore the 'work' part as well since I have not been officially employed by anyone since 2000.

However being retired must surely be the same as a six month break except it is a lot longer...

If I was to be honest there are times when I did and do get bored and yearn for something exciting to do.

I would love to be able to travel and explore as we used to do when we were both working but pensions do not stretch that far, so 'holidays' in the normal sense of the word are not on the horizon.

Instead we go to England to see the family, which although greatly enjoyable is not quite the same as The Maldives or Kenya or China.

One of the main reasons that we cannot be whisked off on holiday is the number of animals that we have. We could put the dogs and cat into kennels but they have never experienced this so it would not be much fun for them. Also my donkeys.. Jorge next door would look after them but it would be in the Bulgarian way, which is not the same as my way... so we stay here.

Also the expense would far outweigh the enjoyment of getting away.

So there you have it...That is all I have to say on this subject...
