Kindle Fire

One think I see that will be very big in 2012 is the use of E-books such as Amazon Kindle Fire and Barnes & Noble's Nook. Combine that with the IPAD, they are poise to make Textbooks and Books obsolete by the end of 2012. Just look at what The Amazon Kindle fire, Barnes & Noble's Nook and the IPAD is doing to reshape the education environment. No longer will students have to lug stacks of books in their backpack, but instead can lug an E-book reader or an IPAD. I think by the end of 2012, E-books will replace textbooks and books all together. Colleges and even some schools are starting to jump on the E-book bandwagon and replacing all their standard textbooks to E-book format. I firmly believe by 2020, textbooks and books will completely be written off the shelf and the only book that will be available at the library is going to be an E-book. It's going to happen and that with the explosion of E-book readers like the Amazon Kindle Fire, Barnes & Noble's Nook and Apples IPAD, textbooks and books are in a huge decline and will sooner or later be rendered obsolete.
