- Delhi or Pune. It breaks me to say this.

Some choices aren't fun, but they turn out to be for the better.

Coming to Pune. I mean, staying in Delhi with my boyfriend and inside the comfort of my house seemed so temping but I was dying to have my freedom back. The freedom to live life as it comes, not being so overprotected, and going back to late night strolls (apparently Delhi isn't safe "enough"). I longed to see some night life again, and the liberty to come home shit faced and pass out.
The only easy part about all of this was that I was offered a better major in Pune, in Delhi it was "Political Science" or "History". I mean, both or them are interesting enough and I'd love to study them, but when it comes to finding a career, Political Science and History don't have much to offer.
The hardest part was leaving my boyfriend behind. Everyone says that teenage love is bound to end someday and that it doesn't last forever. I'm not impractical, I knew that our odds of survival weren't as good as I'd have liked them to be but it was the first time that I'd been in "love". Cheesy at it may sound, it was love at first sight, which, by the way is something I never believed in until it happened to me. I used scoff at the people who used to banter on about falling into the eyes of their lover. I've always been practical. But this man made me feel like life would always be perfect if never let of him.
Over all, I'm glad I chose to come to Pune because honestly, at the end of the day I was getting quite bored of Delhi and was longing to go someplace new and make some new friends. More importantly, Pune has taught me so much that I wouldn't have ever learnt otherwise.
I love my decision. And I'm glad I took it. :)
