- It's only natural...

You can’t tell a dumb person they’re dumb because that’s plain rude. No matter how tempting, you can’t beat the crap out of idiots because that could get you into a lot trouble (idiots could be bigger, heavier and skilled fighters). And it’s too tiring to use tact all the time. So our bodies developed a natural defense to help us cope with the stress, that’s how sarcasm was born. It’s a normal response when the world is trying to plague you with stupidity. It’s what makes senseless situations easier to deal with.
It’s a bloody battle when you snipe at someone who’s clearly ill equipped to fire back but sometimes you just can’t help it, you’re human after all. Some people are born with quick wits and some well let’s just say aren’t quick enough.
It’s insulting and hurtful when the barb is fired at you but if you don’t want to receive sarcastic comments then don’t say stupid things. There’s a limit to how much stupidity people can take and some have really low tolerance; which isn’t anyone’s fault it’s just the way things work.
I hate it when I have to state the obvious, when I have to spell it out word for word just to be understood. I don’t like it when I have to repeat myself a dozen times and when I’m asked a dumb question over and over. Sarcasm is often petty and cruel but some people are just asking for it. It’s like they live just to be insulted or for the sole purpose of being disrespected. I can’t say I enjoy dissing people but it’s more palatable than being brutally honest and shooting straight; telling people to f* off is not on my list of favorite things to do. I’m rude but I’m not that rude (or sometimes I am… depends on the weather).
If you know how to throw sarcastic comments then you should be able to take hits too. You can’t open fire on people and not expect them to fire back. That’s why sarcasm can be considered a sport. It’s a battle of wits and endurance, whoever hits the most wins. But there’s a limit to how many punches you can throw, you can’t keep hitting someone who’s already knocked down. It’s not sarcasm anymore; it’s being sadistic and vile.
