When I first moved to California I took a job that I needed but wasn't crazy about b/c I knew I needed to pay rent. About a year later I interviewed with another company that at the moment seemed to have a brighter prospect for me. I performed well in the first interview and was confident that I had the job. I was even set on accepting the position if they offered it to me. Then my parents, after performing some research on the company, implored me not to take the job. I listened to their reasons and unfortunately I did not pursue the job any further. I just wanted out of one bad situation not realizing that I'd be going right back into another.
