Is it just me? I'm actually drawn to shows where creativity is the big feature. I've learned more about food, fashion and art by watching shows where contestants bring their best in their chosen field. The conflicts and drama are much less interesting than the insight we get into these hidden worlds.

BTW, those housewives are completely unwatchable!
