    • I was standing in front of a book store waiting for my mom to pick me up when some lady walked up to me and said, "Excuse me, excuse me." while looking at me. I think I said something like "Hu?" expecting her to ask me something like "what time is it?", you know, something reasonable. But no, what comes out of her mouth is "Have you let Jesus Christ into your heart?" At that point I just gave her a horrified look and ran into the book store.
Now, to explain why I was so horrified, the previous day I had been at Macy's and trying out some make-up. Unfortunately the lady that was doing my make-up started to talk to me about Jesus Christ, how she used to have "really strange thoughts" and then proceeded to play on my insecurities about my looks to try to lure me to her church. I hated that. It's one thing to talk about your religion, but it's an entirely different thing to be trying to manipulate me into going to your church.

SO, needless to say, I was afraid I was going to receive a similar lecture from the complete stranger that walked up to me and asked if I had "let Jesus Christ into my heart yet."
Still have no idea why she randomly asked me that... I mean, I guess my cloths looked a little tattered (since I didn't notice that my shirt had a couple of holes in the back before leaving the house), but that doesn't mean I'm homeless and desperate like I think she thought.
