Jason and I are huge Seinfeld fans. I contend that THE BEST episode of Seinfeld is the Schmoopie episode. It has everything. The Soup Nazi, the gay couple who steal an armoire from Kramer, and of course Jerry and his girlfriend du jour, played by Ali Wentworth, are Schmoopies. The couple is overly affectionate and it irritates everyone! Jerry eventually dumps his schmoopie in order to keep his soup privileges. Now we do not have pet names for each other, but what could be more ridiculous than schmoopie? In remembrance of that great show and sarcastically making fun of pet names, somehow it stuck! NEXT!
