I believe in fate to a certain extent. I believe that there is some order to the Universe that we have no control over what-so-ever.

However... Since we're a part of the Universe, we can't leave everything to chance and expect that it will all work out on its own. We're a part of this grand thing... Even if we play a small part in it in the grand scheme of things... We still play some part to it. :)

So... While it's acceptable to understand that there are aspects of the Universe that we have no control over, it's also important to realize that we can take a conscious effort in making the Universe / world a better place. Why be angry at people when it can be easier to love them? (Just an example.)
