Compass Rose

My sense of direction
is compromised at best
I often turn east
when I'm supposed to turn west

I prefer simple terms
like is it left or right
"north side of the street"
fills me with fright

On paper I understand
cardinal directions quite well
but when you give them to me
I wish you'd go to hell
