A Short History of Nearly Everything

The next book on my reading list is the national bestseller "A Short History of Everything", by Bill Bryson, a book my father actually suggested. I'm not absolutely clear on all the details of the book, but I believe that it has something to the meaning of life, from a scientific point of view.
