I do not comprehend why people continue to believe the lies that they are told by so many politicians. Very few people involved in political matters are really up front, honest and forthcoming about how many issues are really intended to affect the lives of the public.

I don't understand why, as an old saying goes, they keep doing the same things that never worked in the past, and expect it to turn out differently now.

Neither do I grasp the reason people continue to put their faith in imperfect human run governments which have always, sooner or later failed, expecting them to succeed in making better laws, helping people all have a better life, and plenty to eat, without millions upon millions starving, and dying of incurable illnesses. Crime is still rampant throughout the earth, and immorality is more accepted as "normal," than ever before in human history.
