Dog is Man's Best Friend

Lots of little dogs

I have seven dogs of various unknown breeds, some big, some small and some in between... Their ages range from 15 years to 12 weeks....

So what one thing would I like my pets to understand..... I AM THE BOSS!

As THE BOSS what I say goes. if I say that you stay in..it does not mean that you sneak out of the door when I am not looking.
When I say SIT it means SIT not lean against my leg.
When I say WAIT it means wait until I say go..not have you snout on the bowl ready to gulp your food.
AND when I say QUIET!..it means be quiet, not just ignore me... It means lay down be quiet and let me rest in peace.....

As you can tell I have complete control over my dogs, the trouble is that I love them all dearly and do not like to hurt their feelings so I very rarely put my thoughts into action.

My one and only control aid is my 'wacker' which is an old rolled up newspaper that I have had for over 12 .years. I do not hit my dogs with it but I do hit table top and furniture and this action does bring control.. In fact I only need to have it in my hand and obedience is immediate.

So my dear doggies understand this... I AM ALWAYS THE BOSS..IT IS NEVER EVER YOU!
