      The New Adventures of Gilligan

When I was in middle school it was Gilligan's Island. Gilligan was such a goof! But I watched that and Happy Days and Laverne and Shirley every chance I got.
In high school, MTV was the thing to watch. When my brother Kevin, who is 5 years older than me, graduated from college and got a job, he talked my mom into letting him subscribe to MTV. Back in the 80's it was just music videos. Talking Heads was the first music vdeo I ever saw. It was so cool back then.
Now, I don't watch much TV. When my co-workers talked about Glee and Survivor I had very little to contribute to the conversations because I lived reality. I didn't need to watch it on TV!
In the warmer months, I find myself outside doing stuff, reading and walking to bike riding.
I find that Michigan winters drive me inside and to the TV though. I have to work at not vegging out in front of the TV. Too much TV rots my brain! It makes me feel unmotivated. Of course, when I already feel unmotivated, I'm drawn to the TV! And to "Leverage", "Las Vegas", "Fairly Legal" .....
