Mom was a special person - tough, true to herself, no nonsense, very hospitable, loved people, watching them and talking to them....
When Mom left my home to live in a private care home the last six months of her life (at the age of 100)it was very difficult giving up my role of taking care of her even though her caregiver was the same lady who had been coming in and seeing to her needs for the past two years and I knew she was in excellent hands. But, as this picture depicts, I'd rather remember her indomitable spirit and her love of beer! Cheers Mom
