Saying goodbye to the family cat. We were moving 3,000 miles across country and we couldn't take her with us. We found her a good home, and they came to pick her up. They had gone outside to get something or give us a moment to say our goodbyes (I am getting teary just remembering this moment), and I walked up to her in the carrier, and I kissed her through the grate and said "Goodbye baby," and I stroked her fur through the holes and then walked off to cry in my bedroom.
