The show is called Silent Classics and is made up of almost entirely viewer created content. Challenges would be posted on a web site and broadcast at the end of every episode with the deadline.

Imagine a successful recreation of a Sherlock Holmes story that explained the whole tale with no revealed dialogue! Captions snuck into photos would have to be limited to signs and such you would expect to find in reality. No verbal or written narration.
