- Banning Soda in Schools
I do wish people would say what they mean
This is not a subject that I know a lot about, but not being the sort of person to shy away from a subject I know nothing or a little about..I thought I would give it a wack!
Soda...my Mother used to put soda (washing up soda) in the green vegetables. I never knew why but I suppose it kept them from losing their colour.
Soda.. I use Baking Soda in cooking sometimes, like when I make scones. I do not know why I use it except the instructions say so and my cooking is bad enough WHEN I follow instructions. It would be diabolocal if left to my own devices...
Soda..I think this one means the drink soda water....fizzy carbonated water! If I am right and I have a 50/50 chance of being that way...what is wrong with soda water?
Is it bad for your teeth? They make toothpaste containing soda
Is it bad for your diet? Can water and soda make you fat? If it can make you slim then I shall drink Soda instead of English Tea.
In my early years at first school we used to drink ice cold milk, and I mean ice cold! Now that must have been bad for you but I think we all survived.
Like Bread and Dripping..definitely not good for you but By Gum it don't 'arf taste good.
So I have not answered the question as to whether soda should be banned in all schools because i honestly do not know the answer but I can tell you that bread and dripping should be on the school meals to fatten up some of the very thin bean poles that I have seen walking around.......
That is my lot
