I know this road trip is a little lame considering some of the other answers have been things like Florida to California and I think one was even California to Tel Aviv. Not sure how that one worked out when it came time to cross the pond but still way cooler than mine.

What is fun about this road trip is that Grant and I decided on a whim to take the trip. Literally, something like 3 days before we would be leaving and our reason was a little ridiculous. It was presidents day weekend and Ben Kweller (who I LOVE) was going to be playing in San Francisco on the Monday night that we had off. I considered it but thought that I did not feel like being out late on a Monday night. Grant then pointed out the fact that he would be in Portland on Saturday. Next thing we know, we had hotels booked and were going to Portland. Monday night in the city was too tiring but a 20 hour round trip car ride was not exhusting at all. Sure, that made sense.
