    • First, a joke: What do you give to the guy that has everything?

      Penicillin.

No one individual is meant to have all the skills, all the wealth, all the knowledge, or all the power. Absolute power corrupts absolutely, don't forget. Notice how it's only ever the bad guys in movies that want to take over the world, and never the good guys? This little planet and everything on it belongs to humanity as a whole. it is our birthright and our responsibility.

Instead of seeking to "have it all", it's much better to aim to "have enough". Enough food and water to keep you healthy, enough space to live comfortably in, enough friends and family around you, and enough talent to leave a lasting impression in the time that's been given to you - enough to sate your needs. Sure, you can want to improve on what you've got, but as long as you realise that everything else is a bonus, then it doesn't get much better than having enough of what you need to live well.
