If time travel were possible, I would enjoy visiting America during the early 1860s as an observer. To witness the pre-war, and several battles first hand, would be a wonderful learning experience. The opportunity to interview and speak with the people directly involved, as well as those in support positions would help paint a new picture about a major turning point in history. One draw back, however, would be souring the natural course of history. I can only imagine what would happen if someone saw me pull out the cell phone and attempt to make a call. Or watch me use the camera app to take pictures. Where would I charge the battery?
