Chamomile - In memory of summer

I suppose it is normal that during my 73 years on this planet there are things that I would rather erase from my memory.

I have not spent 73 years of my life being a perfect angel..I only wish I had so there are some things that I have done that I truly regret. However there is no point at all on dwelling on past mistakes that cannot be rectified.

One of the biggest promises made by God was that if you admit your sin and ask for forgiveness...then it will be forgiven.
Also when I became a Born again Christian my previous sins were washed away and I was Reborn.

Having said that and truly believing in those promises I wonder why it is that I can still remember my misdeeds. Maybe it is a gentle reminder that my life and I are not perfection but we shall always try to be so in the future. Failure is not a sin, it is an experience of life
