{ the devil's rejects}

The last movie that made me cry is a movie I've revisted lots of times. It's Rob Zombie's The Devil's Rejects. Why I've watched it over and over again I don't know. I'm not usually a fan of gore. But beneath that you somehow feel a twisted kind of sympathy for the bad guys. You start to see the real family connection between the characters. I don't know. I thought once I started writing my brain would naturally start exploring the whys and wherefores. What I have come up with is I was the misfit as a child. I was tall and gangly, I spoke differently to the other kids - that on it's own is a whole other story! If they'd only known. Anyway I tend to identify with the underdog and the characters in this movie are certainly the underdogs. I have seen this movie so many times yet I still cry at the end every single time.
