House in the woods

In a perfect world, my dream home would first of all power itself. It would be as eco-friendly as could be. I'm talking solar panels, geo thermal heating, lo-flo everything, no VOC paints, the best windows and doors possible, recycled, up-cycled everything - the works.

That being said, I'd love to live on a large piece of property in the woods (close to civilization) in a home with a reclaimed wood exterior. Hardwood or bamboo floors with cork accent. Lots of natural light through floor to ceiling windows and sola-tubes. Open kitchen/living room/dining room with an Aga stove and consignment shop furniture. Huge master bathroom and bedroom with a walk-in closet.

I could really go on and on, but then I'll start pining for the currently impossible. Until then, I love my Loft!
