I know, I know. All people who are not giant douche bags say Medjool is a nightmare Marina trap. And it is. On a Friday or Saturday night I would not step foot in there. (Unless they had an open bar, or free drinks, or something - let's be honest). But have you ever been there in the afternoon of a nice day?

What better way to showcase San Francisco than from a rooftop veranda? It is, after all, one of the spots that sold me on the great city. I went at around five o'clock on a lovely day and watched the sun shining over the San Francisco skyline. The water all around the city was twinkling, the mojitos were flowing and other magical things that are great.

So I would like to offer the same kind of treatment to a visitor. And be sure to get the hell out of there before the clock strikes, dunno, seven?
