I go back to the night of my second date. My family has left the house to have dinner out, leaving me alone with the guy I had really strong feelings for. I was getting ready for work, and had to make dinner. In the moment that should have happened, I would find something the two of us could have, and made it for him. Then we would have sat down together, had a lovely conversation (not that we didn't the first time around), and he would have driven me to work.
