HOME(LESS) FOR CHRISTMAS
We all wish to be Home for Christmas
But for the Homeless this is not true;
For even the lowly Baby Jesus-----
Once was Homeless just like you.
Like the Homeless, Joseph and Mary
Searched for some lace to stay----
Wandering into their faceless night
Fearful for Christ's birth Advent day.
But alas, they saw a tiny light-----
Gleaming out in the manger there;
The animals welcomed the strangers
In answer to their homeless prayer.
So during this holy Holiday season----
Let's be generous doing our fair share;
As the Christ-child, others may be homeless
We just might 'entertain angels unaware."
