- Life without the letter y
So. I think I'm going to exclude 'y' from my blog post today. What a shame, I've always liked that letter. It gets neglected often enough, since it's only "sometimes" a vowel. But it should be used to it by now, so it'll just have to get over it. It starts....NOW!
This post isn't going to be long, just because I want to work some more on Paper Leaves, the novel I started back in November. I am so, so close to the end, and I've decided to make it a cliffhanger, to boot. I want to have it finished before Christmas so I can begin to edit after break, so I have got to crack down on it and get to work. There's not much plot left, at most 10-15 thousand words. I've got over a week to do it too! Although I think we're going to head down to Grandmama's on the 17th or something, since break starts for me tomorrow!! I'm so excited to be free from school, at long last! I've been checking each word I write to make sure that there's not that infernal letter in it, and so far I think I'm doing well. But I don't want to keep this up much longer. The characters want out, as the villian was kind enough to point out. He's appeared in several dreams the past few nights. I think he's at bit mad that his role in PL is over. But he does get to have a part in the cliffhanger. With luck, that will appease him ^_^
