A line we never skied

I have 2 surgery scars and a scar that I got from skiing. The skiing one happened because I had just gotten some new skis and the weight settings on them weren't quite right, meaning that they would have a hard time staying on my feet. Anyway, I was fine until I hit a series of bumps at around 20 mph and I flew up into the air, landing on my side, breaking a pole in half and jamming it into my right leg. I didn't even realise until I had a look around and noticed that my salopettes were ripped. So I skied down to the bottom of the mountain using my scarf as a bandage. Fun, right?
