    • A day without a cell phone
    • i didnt get a cell phone until i was in my second year of college, aka 2002. I never answer my house phone (my sister and mom will confirm this) and I screen ALL my phone calls. If it's important, leave a message. So a day without a cell phone is normal, except for the fact that it also functions as my timepiece, and I get antsy if I don't know the time.

In the village house where my dad lives, there is no phone line and he also didnt get a cell phone until 2002. He didnt learn how to work it until a few years later, however, so he could only contact us, not the other way around, from the village payphone. (he continues to use this as his prefered method).

Once my father was being all giddy and tossing rocks into the ocean from a cliff. He got so excited while winding his arm around for a throw, that he knocked off his cell phone from its belt holder (oh yeah he rocks it) and it spun off the cliff into the ocean. The he continued to laugh merrily and said "xa xa xa, now de fis will anser my calz". my sentiments exactly.
