I used to roll my eyes when my Mom would stop right in the middle of a conversation, changing the subject, and start going on & on about how beauuutiful a certain tree or flower is. Wondering out loud what kind it is, remarking on the lush foliage and the season it blooms, etc. Then she'd keep going, taking that into a larger conversation about how remarkable this world is that we live in and how miraculous Mother Nature is....

Um, yup. I totally do that now. Like Mother, like daughter. :)
