• I only read AP magazine for the tour schedules.

I don't actually read AP magazine closely. There really isn't even much to read; it's mostly advertisements. But I was offered a free year subscription by some dude while waiting in line to see The Rocket Summer, so I glance at it when it comes in the mail. It also has pictures of popular bands and ads for clothes. The pictures of popular bands look like the ads for clothes. It's sad to see those clothes, and it makes me feel old. Are kids really wearing neon pink and green splatter design shirts with a band name pasted over in zombie font? And are they really listening to bands that all sound like Fall Out Boy/Panic! at the Disco? Gross. I need to stop looking at that magazine and pretend that fad doesn't exist.
