When Grant and I were away from each other in college, I sent care packages several times. Most of the items were found at the dollar store since funds tended to me low and I would have much rather spent my money on booze at the time. Now that I have a steady income, I think I would go the extra mile for a traveling friend.

Cadbury Cream Eggs
Most people find these things repulsive. I find them delightful and they only come around once a year. (Accept at Rite Aid for some reason. It seems that there is always a bin of them at Rite Aid.) Anyway, since they are only available in the Easter season I tend to stock up. And, since I also plan on visiting my friend who is traveling abroad and the chances are pretty good that he/she is not going to like these cream filled treats, maybe they will be there waiting for me when I come to visit.
