After high school Grant and I both went to the community college to complete our first two years of higher education. Grant and I had been together since junior high and although the thought of going to "The University of Southern Fremont" or "Stanford with Stairs" as it was so loving referred, was quite annoying to us, we treasured the time since at the end of those two years we would both be going to to different colleges.

After transferring, we were then going to do everything in our power to be done in yet another 2 years so we could move back home and be together again. So when one of our favorite professors was going to be hosting the study abroad program in London, England the fall semester after we were going to be done and transferred to our respective universities, Grant and I just thought, "Oh well! Maybe next time! We don't need a bunch of English classes anyway!"

Well, guess what?!?! There is no next time. Sure, it cost $3000, blah, blah, blah! But the real reason we didn't go? Because we didn't need the classes and it would mean that it might take a whole extra semester to graduate. OH THE HUMANITY!!!

Let me put this a different way for you. We actually chose to not go to England so we could go away to college, finish and then move home (and back in with our parents) faster? I still don't get it.
