Teaching Assistant - Nature & Science at Summer Enrichment

My first job was teaching 6-12 year old kids about nature and science at summer enrichment. We had two sessions, a morning and an afternoon one. I actually did it for 4 years pretty much every summer through my high school years. I'm great with kids and handling animals, the 7 foot long boas really freaked people out, but they were pretty easy to manage. I think the pay started at $5 an hour, it was basically a great way to spend the summer, get popsicles twice a day, play with kids, learn a ton about all kinds of different animals, and get a little extra cash to boot.
