    • 'Babel' was a bad choice to watch with the family

    • My wife and I were very interested in seeing the movie (given it was nominated for Best Picture and we both love the director), and there really wasn't anything else to watch. Beth's (my wife) parents wanted to see it with us and we said okay.

      While Beth and I greatly enjoyed the movie, we still haven't heard the end of it from her parents.

    The nudity, the language, etc. While Beth's parents are great people, often times they don't look past the subject matter in movies to see how those subject matters are treated and why they are in the movie in the first place. :-(
