The thing I miss most about my home in Phoenix, AZ is dusk. The time when the sun is going down, and everything turns red and purple. In Phoenix it's still hotter than heck outside, but the mix of diminished light and heat is intoxicating.

I could sit outside in the dusk with absolutely nothing to do, and be perfectly at peace.

Dusk is Las Vegas is very similar, and I was there last week. It made me miss home quite a bit.
