The obvious problem with answering this question is the unequal playing field. It seems the obvious answer would be if the duel is in water the shark will win and if on land, the victory would go to the bear.

I don't think it is that easy though. I will stick with the facts.

If the fight were to occur outside of the ocean, the bear would win. Hands down. So, if the fight we to occur in the water, one might think that the shark would win. Lest we not forget the story of the man who WRESTLED A SHARK TO LAND AND LIVED TO TELL ABOUT IT!!!!! I know, I know, the man had drank his weight in vodka rendering super human strength. But regardless, if a human being can wrestle a shark out of the ocean, that shark doesn't have a prayer.
