    • Growing up.
    • While I've taken on an incredibly responsible role at a very young age, I think there are many stages of adult-hood and growing up. I think that the most significant change in my life that made me FEEL like an adult was when I brought my first child home from the hospital. There was an overwhelming feeling of responsibility of caring for this child and her mother. Everything I had known in my life changed in an instant. From that moment on, I've felt more mature than I ever had in my life, while at the same time I felt more vulnerable than I had ever felt in my life. Six years and two more children later, I feel like I will never stop growing up. Parenthood is kind of like High School. It's very intimidating at first, but it keeps getting a little better as the years go by.
