    • Some friends of mine live in Midpines
      We visit them when they aren't there
      Eddie the cat watches over us
      And there really are pine trees everywhere

      Pioneer Market and the tchotcke shops
      Happy Burger Diner where the menu never stops
      It's a great break from the city when we need a switch
      But on our last visit we landed in a snowy ditch
