My entire adolecence basically consisted of people telling me how tall I was. I never quite knew how to respond to that. "Really? I never noticed!" That statement of the obvious was usually followed by, "You must play basketball or volleyball."
Um, no. I made one feeble attempt at basketball in the 5th grade. Although it was not solely my fault, our team never won a game. So sports were just not in the cards for me and I used my height to stand in the back row of the choir all through junior high and high school and resigned myself to the fact that I was not athletic.
But then, I bought Grant a Wii. Now, he is boy so he beats me at every single game we have. Every game accept Wii boxing that is. For some reason I kick ass at this game. My favorite part about winning is that Grant hates it. After I have completely schooled him he will whine and say, "My controller must be broken or something because I am doing the exact same thing you are doing and my guy is not moving!!!!"
Sure dear. It's the controllers fault, not my mad skills.
And it is not just Grant. Oh yes my, friends! I have defeated none other than the world famous Plinky founder, and my brother-in-law, Mr. Jason Shellen himself. Knockout!
