Lazarus by Porcupine Tree

I'm not really sure why this is a great song to get you over a break up. It's kind of sad and melancholy, but it really helped me out when this girl that I really liked a lot decided her life would be better had she never met me. I still love this song.

Machines by Biffy Clyro

This song starts out really sad. It's about losing someone you love and not being able to handle it. The last lines are "Take the pieces and build them skyward." It's just so beautiful. This one helped me get over a really bad relationship. She was abusive, I was submissive. When we broke up I couldn't take it for a while. It really helped mend my first real broken heart. I would recommend this song to anyone and everyone.
