    • In defense of my vice: butter
    • In kindergarten they taught us how to make butter by shaking cream in milk cartons. I was hooked ever since. Everything is better with giant chunks of butter on it or in it, or cooked with it. I can never be vegan. I know it's mean to cows.

      Have you ever buttered a croissant? That's really good.

    I spent about four years refusing to eat butter and eating Brummel and Brown mystery yogurt spread instead. When I finally reate butter last year I became very upset with myself. Why on earth would anyone ever quit butter? I've buttered a butter croissant every morning since.
