When I was in middle school I had never dated anyone and was quite dorky and very shy. FINALLY, a boy asked me out and I was so excited and had told all my friends, I had a date. The night of the big event, he called to tell me he was going to watch night golf with his dad.

There is no night golf.

My first date I was stood up and dumped all with one lie about night golf. I have since grown into up to be a witty, wonderful, confident, 31 year old woman and I still give him hell about it.

He totally regrets it, I can tell. ;-)
