Back when I was around 12-13ish, infomercials were "the new thing".
There was one for The Snackmaster... it touted the ability to make, well, anything that required baking or toasting.
Finally, after much begging, my parents procured a snackmasteresque.

I used it a few times, but because it was such a pain to clean, it pretty much just collected dust.
Though it made a damn fine turtle.
(butter-side-out-bread, chocolate chunks, caramels...)
