    • The phone book is more entertaining.

This book bored me to death. I read about half of it and had to put it down. I haven't picked it up since. I think I would rather read the phone book.

I didn't give up on it but John Galt's monologue nearly did me in. If it was two pages longer I probably would have put it down

This is one of my favorite books of all time. I love Galt's speech, but it does get repetitive!

When I was 15 I loved Ayn Rand and her books. Then my adoration faded. She got a lot of play in the press a few years ago (perhaps an anniversary?) and I tried to re-read the books. The prose was pretty artless. Still, the story was good.

I'm actually currently working on my 5th time through Atlas Shrugged. This time I've been splitting it between audiobook and reading though because it is quite a bit of book to take in. Sadly it looks like the movie is on hold.
